Class 3 trip to Leeds Museum

On Wednesday 6th June, Class 3 from Shadwell joined with their Bramham friends in Class 3 and travelled to Leeds City Museum to take part in an Ancient Egyptian workshop. The children went to saw a real Egyptian mummy named Nesyamun and completed a task to find the missing items from his tomb.…

Bronze Age Day

Class 3 had a fantastic day as they went back in time to the Bronze Age! 

The children got the chance to build their own shelters using the wattle and daub method. They foraged for suitable sticks to make spears with and even went on a dig to uncover copper and tin ores.

Exploring Capacity

Class 3 have had a fun but wet morning exploring capacity! 

We had a range of different sized containers and were focusing on carefull pouring (this was tricky!) and accurate reading of the scale to find out the volume of each container.

Class 3 - Learning Log Challenge!

Class 3 were given a learning log challenge of making a 3D map of the local area, showing both human and physical features.

Soil Investigation

Chinese New Year Celebrations

Class 3 Build our own skeletons!

The children have enjoyed building their own skeletons and labelling them. After addressing a few upside down ribs and some muddled up leg and arm bones we had one completed skeleton per group! We then went on a scientific name hunt and added them to our skeletons too.
