Shadwell Village Walk

Class 2 had a great time on their walk around the village, they followed their maps and added direction arrows as we walked through to the park. We passed many local features such as the fish and chip shop, the library, the churches, Miss Eales (and many other children’s!) houses and also Penelope the pig!
After having our snack and drink at the park the children enjoyed having playtime on the field before we set off on our next quest to explore Bluebell Woods. Once we reached the woods, the children did a fieldwork study of the plants and trees they could see there so they could compare this with their fieldwork completed from the school grounds. We found MANY more bluebells and sycamore trees in the woods.
We were very impressed with how far the children walked without telling us their legs hurt...until the last moment, Well done Class 2!
